In product development, especially in new categories, it's costly to build a working proto-type to test form factor or usage appeal. To provide teams with timely data for design iteration, I construct ideas using paper descriptions, foam core, cobbled together models or hijacked consumer products. It's important to test early and often. Collaborating with product teams is one of my favorite roles in UX.
