Collaborations
This work was created by an artist team of both humans and non human agents. There exists a private, personal relationship between artist and artwork that we attempted to break, transform and rebuild. We disrupted our sense of authorship and invited the mechanical and adversarial into our work. Each human artist began a work, then traded that work and invoked an AI Generator model named Dall-e to generate a new version of the work. The Human's then took back creative control and finalized the work to our satisfaction. As AI agents capture our attention and fire our imaginations, we must find ways of harnessing this alien creativity or face being drowned out in its exponential growth and hallucinations. We will investigate the authenticity of the work, as well as our identities as beings with free will.
