Landscape Explorations > Tree Portraits

My husband and I make charcoal. It's crazy easy, and there is something so ironic about using parts of a tree to create pictures of trees. Rebirth, like a phoenix from the ashes. And its also fun to create something out of fire and ash. I love the sound that charcoal makes scraping against the paper. Sometimes I dream about the sound.
